About Me
Who am I?
My name is Gareth, I’m a student and I love what I do.
Although, only a student, I have been mucking around with photoshop since the tender age of 14.
This triggered my passion for design and advertising and made me persue it as my career.
My other options flowing through my head at the time were: becoming a marine biologist or an archaeologist which leads me to this – I am interested in anything and everything.
I see myself as a student of life (corny) were everything I see or touch I want to learn about. I like to know how things work and delve straight in to new products or ways of doing things head first. I have a various list of hobbies from gaming to mountain biking, I enjoy everything and love learning new skills.
I see myself as a hard worker and only produce my best as anything else isn’t acceptable, I always strive to push myself in the hope that I can push my limits and become even more awesome at what I do.
My experience includes web design for online businesses, various corporate identities, posters, and others, not to mention all of my college work which ranges from DPS’s to integrated campaigns and a Loerie Nomination. I see myself as an art director and designer not as one or the other, I only chose art direction because I wanted to feed my hunger for knowledge in a discipline I did not know that much about to begin with.
Anyway enough of me blowing my own horn, lets get on with it!
